May is a wonderful time of year in Vancouver, and as a mother, I'm always looking for fun things to do with my family. From exploring the great outdoors to discovering new cultural experiences, there's no shortage of activities to enjoy. Here are some of my favourite things to do in May:
Visit the Bloedel Conservatory: This lush tropical garden is the perfect place to escape the rainy weather and enjoy a burst of colour and warmth. It's home to over 200 exotic birds and plants from all around the world.
Explore Stanley Park: This iconic park is a must-visit for anyone in Vancouver, especially in May when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. Take a leisurely walk or bike ride around the seawall and enjoy the stunning views of the city.
Check out the Vancouver Aquarium: If you're looking for an indoor activity, the Vancouver Aquarium is a great choice. It's home to over 50,000 animals and has a variety of exhibits and shows that are sure to delight both kids and adults.
Visit the Museum of Anthropology: This museum is a fantastic place to learn about the rich history and culture of the First Nations of British Columbia. The stunning neoclassical architecture of the building is also a sight to behold.
Have a picnic in the park: There's nothing quite like a family picnic on a warm May day. Pack some sandwiches, fruit, and snacks, and head to your favourite park for a relaxing afternoon in the sunshine.
And of course, no May outing would be complete without a stylish pair of eyewear to protect your eyes and elevate your look. At Sense Eyewear, we have a range of beautiful glasses from top brands that are sure to complement any outfit. Come visit us and find your perfect pair!
