From humble beginnings
Hi Vancouver! I'm Heidi, the founder of this premium eyewear store that's been taking Vancouver by storm since 2018. I know, I know - you're probably thinking, "Eyewear? How exciting can that be?" But let me tell you, when you've got a passion for glasses like I do, it's anything but boring!
My love affair with eyewear began when I was just a wee little one, working in my family's glasses shop. I spent most of my childhood and teenage years surrounded by all sorts of frames and lenses, and I quickly learned to appreciate the artistry and craftsmanship that goes into each and every pair of glasses.
Fast forward a few decades, and I moved and found myself in Vancouver, a city that I instantly fell in love with. But as much as I adored my new home, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was missing. That's when I had my "eureka" moment - I decided to start my own eyewear shop!
Sense Eyewear launches
Opening Sense Eyewear wasn't easy. I had to hustle, network, and make some tough decisions along the way. But with my background in the industry and my natural eye for design, I knew I had what it takes to make my dream a reality.
Now, a few years later, Sense Eyewear has become a go-to destination for Vancouverites who want to look stylish and sophisticated while also seeing clearly. We specialize in handcrafted Japanese glasses, and we carry a carefully curated selection of frames from some of the most sought-after brands in the industry, including H-Fusion, Viorou, Four Nines, Japonism, Factory 900, Steady Spectacles, and Kaneko.
